It's amazing what the 3 inch downpipe does for these cars. Really happy with it. The motor feels wayyyyy more efficient. it changed the sound a bit too...that with the glass pack in for the resonator...it sounds about as good as you're going to get it before it starts sounding obnoxious.

Also did kyb's all around with new strut mounts. Which leads me to my next story...

The guy who did them doesn't have an alignment rack. Finally got it in for one and an alignment turned into a new ball joint which turned into a new control arm (original 195k lol)

It feels like a new car but I'm having a new problem though. When I turn the wheel I hear rubber creaking....the guy who did the control arm yesterday said the strut mounts could be bad (new from ZZP)

he said that when he turns the wheel that the spring could be turning as well.

Also mentioned it could be something with the spring being compressed and being so old

Any opinions on what needs to happen to fix it?



Also put on slp G8 tips. Need to be played with a bit but I like them
