kid sold car to boyfriend. i still work on it a bit. alternator bearing failed. i had replaced unit in 07. and i had receipt too. 7yrs is good life for remaned alt i suppose. bearings do fail.

maybe they are just thinking out loud? almost sounds more like a statement than a question. if you read into it its nothing more than a statement.
