So, to keep a long story short, grand prix is with my daughter two hours away. Power steering went out. Took to dealer for the first time in 7 years ad 125K miles. They fixed the power steering pump and replaced one of the lines ($700 - ouch) but it fixed the problem. She drove back to her apartment and no problems. Car sat for two weeks and she went to drive it. Fobs lock but don't unlock doors or open trunk. When she starts the car she gets a message the the headlight and brake lights are out.

Any thought? I tried to do a search but have no idea what to use for search terms.

Come on guys. Bail me out again.

Well, we don't know the year of the vehicle.

I'd guess at 04+, so do the lights work? Did someone adjust the auto headlights on the turn signal switch?

I see you're in akron where is your daughter? I could possibly look at it if she's semi close. I'm guessing 04+ as well. Did she check the brake and head lights?

    Sorry

    2006 GT with 125K miles

The headlights and brake lights work but she says she gets a blinker error for the R front, left front, right rear, and left rear. And I sent her the ther key. Both fobs will lock the car, but not unlock or open trunk.

    She is in Columbus.

Should I be concerned that this happened after I took it to the dealer?

I don't see how the dealer could have done anything to mess it up

So took it to the dealer and they diagnosed it with 50A fuse blown. They could not find a cause and suspected a bad attempt at jump starting. Could not find any other problems.

Daughter swears did not use the car to jump start anyone.

Anyone have other reasons why fuse would blow?
