I would go to a dealer or junk yard. Should be easy to find.

Think I would have to replace the whole cable or is there a way to Jerry rig it in place?

Should go on the other side of the bracket IIRC. So, take the large black side of the cable and push it into the bracket all the way and then slide the clip over the end that is sticking out on the other side. All else fails I'll go look at mine later and let you know.

Did that but when I shift out and park and try to put it back to park it falls off. Does that black piece something I can replace on its own or is the cable one big piece?

pretty sure if the part that holds the clips on the fat part @ the bracket, you need a new cable. its part of it.

unless you can rig it to stay put, Zip ties, and such.

fords dead on, it gets pushed through the bracket, then clipped from the other side to hold it tight.

the way id go about zipping it is to put 2 or 3 around the body of the cable,(in a spot they can lock to when pulled on) leave them loose, then loop another zip tie through the one on the body, then around the bracket, or through the bracket if you can, then back over the top or side, what ever will hold tight, do this form both sides of the cable, push the cable as far into the bracket as you can and then make all the zip tie's tight.

zip ties wont last forever, in the heat they will get brittle and break someday. so look at this as a temp repair, till you can get a new cable.
