you can, it will just feel gut less. the sc pulley will spin, thats ok, let it.

Make sure you let the supercharger spin freely or it won't just be gutless it will have problems getting up to 55mph.

pulley can be changed. i just did mine a few weeks ago. it was chirping when cold for months, i finally thought,,hmmmmm i should change that before it takes the belt out. after the belt was off the pulley barely spun. new was like 20 bucks for a dayco at advance auto.

mine was normal threads too for the pulley bolt.

I don't really care for the Dayco pulleys, all the ones I have purchased started chirping after a few months of use.

Just don't mash it, there will be no extra air for all that fuel that gets dumped in when in boost.

ill keep that in mind. see how it goes over the next few months i guess.

Mexpulley on eBay uses brand name bearing, NTN and metal pulleys.

i wonder if you could just replace the bearing. looks like it would press right out/in.

Metal pullies you can but bearing cost you about $10

Smooth metal pulleys can get bearings replaced, done it at work before.

not a dayco it seems lol

I think I will be replacing mine this weekend mine is chirping like crazy!
