    2000 Grand Prix GT Sedan

I got my entire car pretty much all the way apart since I just finished installing an amp and new 6x9's and I was wondering if anyone has installed any additional sound proofing/insulation anywhere and how it worked.

I was thinking maybe between the trunk/cabin, inside the doors? I'm not sure though. What do you guys think?

Just keep in mind the extra weight. If it's a DD then doesn't matter so much.

What did you use RedComp? When I did my headliner, I thought of using some of that rubberized undercoating stuff because some of the cans say it can be used as a sound deadener too. Plus it's cheap and easy. Then I read that sometimes you may be able to smell it in the summer months, so that's not cool. I didn't do it.

I'm a cheapo, I didn't want to go to the expense of using Dynamat or the like. I wanted it to be cheap, as in free. And I wanted someone else to do it for me. For free. And do it right. Hasn't happened yet.
I don't know what the hell I'm doin.

Ugh for the doors and floor board I want to say I used hushmat but it's been so many years I don't recall 100%.

Ran out of material so years later when I had my headliner back out and went el cheapo route and just used peel n seal. Yea I know so were say that the smells stays especially in heat but that's b/s, smell went away after a day or so and this is a Florida car that's stays outside 24-7
