Have any of you ever had a seat that seems to be squeaky internally? I lubed EVERYTHING I could find on it, but, it still squeaks. I can press on it and it flipppin SQUEAKS.

    Annoying as heck.

I guess I better ask my son about that...........

It's been squeaking since we bought the car.

I haven't looked, but can the springs be accessed with too much trouble?

I found that you can get to them with out removing the seat. You may have to lay in the back. Also you could swap the seat for a jy one but I leave that up to you

the bottom cushion, the cover unhooks from the front, sides, and the back, under the foam is the spring pad. it could have a few broken wires. or the back rest could be the squeak. under the side plastic is a bolt or two on each side, take those bolts out and the seat back lifts off.

id try to make it squeak and pin point it.

to get the seat out of the car if it comes to it. move the seat all the way forward, under the two plastic caps are the 15 mm bolts. pull them, then lower the seat back, lift the back, then lift the front, its got a odd hook on the front of the track into the floor.

of course unplug all the plugs under the seat before trying to remove it. and theres the seat belt bolt too.
