Sorry to bump this but I was wondering Scottydoggs if you knew the number of the fuse for the heater or blower. Tried looking by the door panel and I'm not seeing any layouts for the heater. Tried doing a quick google and the only number I found was #22.
Just want to be careful due to my previous truck the I.O.D. Fuse ( Ignition off Drain ) blew and I must have short circuit the entire fuse box, Radio stopped and dome lights stopped. tried changing #17 in my truck and got shocked and then it started smoking and smelled burnt wires when the engine was hot. Forgot to turn the key off and unplug the battery and wait for the discharge.
So if you can help would be greatly helpful want to see if it's the fuse, motor or the resistor
