So I'm replacing my washer solvent pump tomorow cause mine went out. Is the only way of getting to it by taking off the front bumper. And is there a trick. This is in my 2001 gtp

if you pull the inside wheel liner you can reach in and pull it off the tank. its a easy fix.

The pump is facing the outside though so won't it be hard to reach in

i can see mine from under the car in the regal, so if you get it up on ramps you may be able to reach right up to it from under the car too.

pretty sure i could get to it if i took the head light out too.

just pull like 3 or 4 of the plastic wheel well lining clips and pull it back and reach in.

You can do it with the tire on car on the ground and everything together except the wheel well liner, i did it on mine a few months ago.

Theres like 2 or 3 6mm or so bolts holding the wheel well liner to the bottom of the bumper cover and then take off a few of the phillips screws holding it to the fender and pull it back. You should see the washer pump. unplug the wires running to it and then with the new pump in hand pull the old pump out and take the hose off and quickly put the new one in. (If there's fluid in there it will come pouring out. If its dry then don't worry about doing it quickly)

You can remove the headlight and get your arm down through the opening and get it in and out. You wont be able to see it so it will all be by feel.

Haha! Sorry, that's just funny as I've seen it done before. The look on people's face when they remove the pump and all of the sudden Niagra falls, lol.. Yea, if the res. is full, it won't been when you're done.
