well i decided to check out my engine and look around to see if there was any issues that i could see and long behold i see a nice puddle of coolant by the injectors. after further inspection its coming from the center supercharger bolt channel directly in front of the middle injector.
so after cleaning it and finding the middle channel supercharger bolt not tightened i decided to check today. after checking today i see a tiny amount so its still leaking.
so now its time for troubleshooting.

i had just replaced my supercharger gasket a few weeks back so im guessing somewhere within the weeks something changed.

also i noticed to gasket hangs by the first injector closest to the coil packs. should it? ill snap a pic and also can i just remove that one bolt and apply some red threadlocker?

i know it could be the manifold gaskets but it seems odd for it to fail that quickly out the blue. never had a leak until i removed the charger. thoughts?

this pic shows the overlap of the gasket.

I said it looks normal because there is overhang. Why would you need to seal anything?

Make sure you replace the little yellow o-rings, that's where the coolant comes through to the throttlebody. If you don't use new o-rings it will spray coolant and that could be part of the issue. I would pull the gasket, replace the supercharger gasket, those o-rings, and clean both surfaces perfectly and then put it back together. Should fix it unless there is crack somewhere.

Need to double check that when you tear it off. and get some Scotchbrite pads and surface sand it so its nice and clean on both the manifold and supercharger where the gaskets meet. If there is anything there it will result in either an air leak, or coolant leak, depending. But it is possible it took a bit to leak because was almost sealed but finally worked its way out.

Just make sure both surfaces are flat and smooth and use new GM/Felpro gaskets and you should be good to go.

if you had a gasket there it would have stuck to one side or riped in half. so it looks like the last person to touch it didnt put one on. how cheap can you be.

EDIT: not meaning you the other person who fixed it

    Good Job!

That small spot being that close to the o-ring was definitely a problem. Took thick to seal with a "double gasket" area like that, especially that close to the o-ring. Glad it was an easy fix.

Nice looking engine bay. I like the gold color.... it even looks good on the throttle body which surprises me because I usually think throttle bodies look horrible painted the same color as the super charger.
