Wait, I know for certain that L26 rods are not the same as L32 rods. I thought the length of the rods determined compression ratio?

But either way, the L26 rods are the weakest ever used in the 3800. In terms of rod strength, L32>L67>L36>L26. This is really the only thing that keeps me from using any form of forced induction, I don't want to snap a rod.

I believe it is different pistons. I think the rods are the same between the L26 and L32.

Well I'm starting to pick up what I need for this job.

Picked up a Stage 2 intercooler from a member on here. Will be ordering headers soon as well.

I think I may also pick up a copy of HPT so I can tune the car after the swap. And it will also be capable of tuning my Tahoe too

One other question, I currently have a 3.8 MPS on the GTP engine. With the mods listed above, do you think I would be able to drop to a 3.4'' Pulley? I have a 3.4 modular pulley sitting in the garage and would like to put it to use but also don't want to blow another engine.

If I find a good deal on a Cam, may try to pick that up also. I figure at this point, I might as well make the car really fun to drive
