You pretty much hit it on the spot with that check off list. I would definately check for VAC leaks, make sure your motor is electrically GROUNDED well, and check the induction system(throttle body, air filter, maybe deeper like into the plenum) may be gunked up. Also possibly your fuel injectors and or the entire fuel system may be clogged and dirty which could be the reason of the low fuel psi or the mechanic is just trying to make money off you. Change/check motor oil, might be gunked up also causing low oil pressure. Since the mechanic claimed low fuel psi, try the Royal purple Max fuel clean. Here's what it looks like, $12-16 compared to $300-600 or more for parts & labor a the shop for a fuel pump. May work for you, Chevron techron is great as well[IMG][/IMG]
