The intake gaskets are not really that complicated to do if you are a fairly experienced handyman...

An experienced guy can do it in about 6 hours or so, likely even less time for some of the guys on here who have done it multiple times...

Some advice I can give you is to pay very close attention to what bolts and pieces came from what parts... use solo cups and label them for the bolts if needed! This will save a lot of headaches if you need to stop for a while or it takes you some time to finish.

When changing your intake gaskets you'll definitely want to do an oil/filter change as soon as you're done and it would be an appropriate time to flush the cooling system and change your thermostat.

You'll have to dissassemble your intake tube when you begin this project so then would be a good time to clean your MAF sensor and throttle body.. The MAF sensor is the 1 piece black plastic tube that has a 3 or 4 wire connector going to it I believe right off of the airbox. Be VERY careful not to drop this part because the little wire inside is very fragile and they are not cheap to replace.

Does the car lose oil? If so, check for leakage or gunk build up around the valve covers... an easy identifier for this is a tar like buildup on top of the exhaust manifolds... It's always best to just go ahead and replace the valve cover gaskets while the intakes are off... little more room in there..
