The other day I was driving home from work and dozed off put my car in the ditch and hit and culvert and ripped off my exhaust. I just ordered a new y for the end but my mufflers are ok and the intermediate pipe is still ok. I ordered a catless downpipe from zzp but I have slp headers and now that I have had a chance to look closer I don't think it will work. I got a few pictures but can't get them on and any input would appreciated on how to make it work if its possible. the headers go into a y and they join right before the flex pipe and there isn't any flange. should I cut it off at the top of the flex and cut the zzp downpipe and just weld it? whats your opinions?

Yup unless you get custom and have a shop weld it...the downpipe won't fit with the slp headers. Better off selling the downpipe in the classifieds and get some of your money back.

unless you weld, take it to a muffler shop, if you have a factory cat back on there still the mufflers are welded on and need to be welded to the new Y pipe. same for the down pipe, have them fix whats broken with it. they can cut off the old flange, re weld it to a new down pipe. replace the flex if need be. or even replace a section of pipe if thats the case.

http://www.slponline.com/product/310...Dual-Tips.html the headers go to a piece like on top except instead of the flange its welded to the flex. its an aftermarket system. I would take it to a shop but they wont be able to get it in til aug 8th and its my only car

your mufflers are clamped on the pipes? then its all been replaced one time. should be easy to deal with.

the DP, id take it to a shop let them make heads or tails of it.
