Yes that's an aftermarket remote start sticker. For a Directed Electronics Product.

Thanks for the help people. I guess I have to search out if the remote start is still installed or not. On another note, what is the best and safest way to completely remove those stickers?
Took your info, and did some checking. I have a box under my dash that says "Directed Electronics and Model 555G". I also have a Viper key fob "has "RPN 473V on the back.) that the guy I bought the car from said was a security system that hadn't worked for a long time. Turns out after a little repair to the key fob, that the "aux" button opens my trunk after holding the button for a few seconds, and the button with the closed and open padlock on it unlocks and locks my doors the instant it is pressed.......but only with the back off the remote?? The last button on the remote looks like " * " and it does nothing to my car. all three buttons however do make the little green light on the remote blink when pressed. I also discovered a small toggle switch on the panel under the steering wheel, which I am guessing according to a bunch of time on Google is the "valet" switch. (Not that I know what a valet switch does??) So, I'm going with the theory that I have a Viper remote starter that does everything it is supposed to do, except start the car. Does anyone have any experience with a system like this that might be able to help me get it going?
I have a viper security/remote start system with that same sticker. Post a picture of your key fob
Remote start would be 2 pushes of the yellow button.
555g is your security bypass.
473 is your remote model number
Your actual viper model number is on the brain u del the dash as well.
Solder joints are probably broken or the board. Just solder then up if they are it's common
The switch is for shutting off the remote start during service so it doesn't accidentally start.

What are the chances that this is a car alarm instead of a remote starter? The reason I ask, is I was in the car last night trying some programming methods I found on Google, plus some general pushing and mashing of buttons, and I found out that once I lock my car doors with the GM remote, (two quick pushes of lock button so the horn honks) if I then unlock the door manually (I was inside) and then open the door, or try to start the car, the horn goes off as it would in a normal car alarm. Going to try the two pushes thing and see what happens.
on the starters ive messed with its 3 pushs with the yellow(or whatever color you have) to start the car but it has to be awake first, like pressing the lock button first the press the yellow button 3 times and see what happens
Nope, three didn't work. neither three slow or three fast. or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or8 or 9. Oh well, not like it used to work and now doesn't, so no loss. Thanks for all the help people.
Odds are it doesn't work. You said the guy told you it hasn't worked for a year. Odds are the tach isn't programmed or a hood pin is showing open (if Installed)
It's viper they have Lifetime warranty pull the brain and remotes send them into dei they'll send you a refurb

This makes sense since I can get the alarm to go off without use of the Viper remote. Don't know why I never realized it before. Guess sitting in the car at 4 in the morning playing with buttons was a good idea. Now that I remember, my brother, who is a mechanic told me to look for the modules, find the manual, and look for blown fuses, circuits, etc. (or as we always said in the military, find the brown spot, and you found your problem.Odds are it doesn't work. You said the guy told you it hasn't worked for a year. Odds are the tach isn't programmed or a hood pin is showing open (if Installed)
It's viper they have Lifetime warranty pull the brain and remotes send them into dei they'll send you a refurb) Thanks everyone for the extra tips. I'll play around this weekend if I get a chance, and report my results back.
