Where do i find this stuff could you provide me with a pic or desribe where i look thanks
at any auto parts store they have the freon with dye or whatever.
Can i add freon my self?
you can just get the can that looks like this Interdynamics AF22 - R-134a Refrigerant | O'Reilly Auto Parts
but dont over fill your system!!! or you may blow a line
It may be worth the $$ to have a trained professional look at this issue. A/C isn't something I'd jump into without some knowledge, plus they can usually find the leak faster and tell you what it is, then you can fix it yourself.
And where do i put it at
the schrader valve on the a/c line.

No.
Do some reading on how to actually fill the AC system.
Gauging from what you type and how you answer questions, your skill level with cars is next to zero, it likely best to have a shop figure out whats wrong with your AC system.
I bet there is a bigger problem than just being low on freon, because the AC system is a SEALED system that should NEVER lose any of the freon inside.
You need to excuse FFDP, he hasn't been laid in something like 5 years ...and he's pmsing too
I agree with Cam though (FFDP) from the sound of it, you are going to spend a lot of money trying to learn about AC and likely still do it wrong. A shop might be a lot cheaper in the long run.
read the gauge, im guessin blue for this one

The thing here is..you don't know much w/o two gauges. One on the high and one on the low sides.
