My heated seat in my 01 GTP is not working. I checked the fuse..looked under the seat and nothing seems to be unplugged. The switch lights up..but still I have a cold booty. Is there something common that would be wrong?

i have the same exact problem imma do some investigating this week and see what i can find after i order my new headlight housings and do the wiring mod from the back in black site. sick of not being able to see anything at night. im hoping its a bad switch at least then its a cheap junkyard fix that way.

It could be that the heating element has went bad.

typically the heating element within the seat is bad, not a hard fix but it does require you to take off the seat covers

I have the same problem, and was wondering where I could get a new heating element for my seat. I have checked at GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts but they said that the heating element is part of the seat cover itself. I thought about checking out the ones that zzperfomance sells, I just wonder if they will hook up into the factory wire harness.

I think you can get a kit from ZZP, but dont quote me on that. PFYC may have them too.
