    Hello i have i 1999 Pontiac Gtp. The exaust system is hanging way too low since i got the car and remember hearing its not the rubber hangers. i do have pics. click the link for them. if anyone has any idea please message me or comment thanks guys

    Well I can tell you right now that it IS the rubber hangers not connected to the muffler on the right side...push the muffler up and hook the rubber hangers into the metal hangers on the muffler.

    are you positive its as simple as replacing the hangers? i bought it from the dealer like this idk why they wudnt have fixed it. how much would this run me too go to a mechanic.

    Do it yourself. Push the muffler up with your hand and hook the rubber hangers into the metal hangers on the muffler.

    thats the thing the muffler will not go into place or even close too reaching the hanger thats all ready on there.

    Is the exhaust hitting anything when you push it up? If not, try a jack, but of course don't crush the muffler.

    yea its hitting the top but not far enough too the back. i feel like it broke and the dealer welding it that way or something
