First off, if u want an accurate reading on the trans temp you must get the signal through the PCM or OBD2 port. I had an electric trans temp gauge and it was off by nearly 40*. I had my aeroforce gauge right below it, both reading trans temp and the one on the aeroforce is way more accurate. If i were you id get the aeroforce gauge. As far as the oil pressure sender, just remove that little grey and green plug, its literally anout 6 or so inches to the left of the oil filter. You have to remove the oil filter and passenger front tire to see it. There should be 2 wires comming out of a harness. Just simply unplug it and twist out the factory sender. Then use the brass fitting that autometer gives you, and plumbers white fitting wrap for the fittings, and tighten in the sender so it wont leak. Run the wire into the car, up to the gauge and your done installing the sender.

electric gauges are as accurate as your electrical system, as long as you dont have any shorts of some sort your good. Manual gauges have lines filled with fluid going into the interior of your car, just means if their is a hole in the lines you will have fluid of whatever type behind your dash, and end up on the floor . As far as accuracy its just more of where your sender is located. The best accuracy is directly from the PCM.

ok. So in your opinion where is the best place for the mounting of both oil/trans temp when i get that far. If you say the pan's do i just tap them in or do i drill hole put them on, and put a nut on the inside of pan. I dont thik tapping it will work on such a thin piece of material.

If you want to go through the expense of it, I believe ZZP sells an aluminum tranny pan that has a place in which to install a temp sender.
