Thread: My car keeps dying on me.. Help..

Okay so I drove my car this morning, and it drove perfectly fine, it didn't give me a single problem. Then when i came home, i turned the car off and went in side. Then about ten minutes later when I came out side i started my car back up and It started doing this to me.. By the way it hasn't ever given me any problems before.. Here is a video of what it is doing.... After a few seconds the engine stops then nothing..

Try unplugging the maf. If that doesn't work do the fuel pump resistor bypass thing.

Just for ****s and giggles, try unplugging the MAF sensor and see if runs for longer.

It might also be the fuel pump relay/resistor issue aswell.


Sounds like it either running out of fuel or the MAF sensor is dying and causing it to run really rough and die.

Fuel pump Resistor is bad. Bypass it problem solved.

Yeah I need a new s/c coupler to fix the sound I know. But I have the car working and running, I pulled fuse 15 out, and I bent pin 85 out of the way, and I plugged it back in. So now the car is running!

Yay i was right

now I just have to get rid the loud noise, by fixing the coupler
