Question: what does third brake light have to do with cruise control? Serious question not trying to be a smart as*
I'm sure I could dig up a whole page full of info about it, but its just one of those things that GM did where multiple functions go off or tie into the same fuse/circut.
O OK. Hadnt never heard that one before. That's a good enough answer
I'm having a cruise control problem with my 07 Grand Prix. I have checked my fuse and 3rd brake light. Both are good..... the light doesn't come on the dash where its says "cruise on".. If I tap the set button 4 or 5 times real fast it will flash on and right back off. the cruise doesn't set at all... Basically I got in my Grand Prix one day and it didn't work... If anyone could help that would be great...Thanks
Curly..
SEarch on Highoctaneracing as a username. Kyle had an issue, I think it was the multifunction switch. IIRC there were some good diagnostics in his thread.
Anytime.. and if you don't find anything, pm him. Tell him I suggested it. He's a pretty good egg. Although..his method of working on a car is interesting.
Lol..... I think I found the thread... If it was about someone that lost there turn signal or something like that... I clicked on link that shows step by step on changing the multifunction switch..... I'm not a dumb but I'm no mechanic so it looks little challenging to me.. Thanks again...
hahahahahahahaahahahah Bill at his best. Anyways yea it sounds like the multifunction switch. Did you check my other thread out?
