Hey guys, I have a Transgo Shift kit and I was going to switch the trans fluid and filter today, so might as well tackle the shift kit. So I know you have to unbolt the accumulator and open that up to swap the springs, but the instructions aren't very clear that came with the kit. Also to my understanding, the kit comes with extra parts intended for a full rebuild. Which of these springs/spacers are the extras?

Easy.....since you're not opening up the side of the trans the 3 things at the bottom of you pic and the yellow spring you won't be using.

I know I'm going a little off of what the directions says but use bare metal, white and red springs so both accumulators look the same. One long brass spacer on each accumulator at the bottom and the short brass spacer on the top of the 2-3 accumulator.

alright so in each section of the accumulator, put 1 long brass spacer in, followed by one red and one white? Then in the 2-3 accumulator, put the short brass spacer (you said spring) on top of the long brass spacer The gray/black bigger springs aren't used?

Correct, you're stock bare metal bigger springs aren't used...

Not sure how much easier I can make it. Use plain, white, red, long spacer in the bottom of both. Re-use original top bare metal springs with just the addition of the smaller spacer on the 2-3 accumulator.

ya i was just looking at that and make picturing things easier. so the springs on top of that circular thing are reused? but just add the medium spacer in the 3rd piston bore?
