    I tried to find a wiring diagram for the interceptor Instead of plugging it into the obd2 port but no luck. I'd rather solder the wires at the back at the same time leaving the front open for scanning with hpt.

    I pulled a diagram for the obd2 port

    Pin 2 is Purple Data
    Pin 4 & 5 is Ground
    Pin 16 is 12v

    Using my meter I matched the pins to the aeroforce cable. I cut off the obd2 plug (from the aeroforce cable) about 3inches back so it can be reattached if need be at a later point.

    AF Green -> 12v -> #16 obd2 (Orange)
    AF White -> Ground -> #4 (black) or #5 (black/white)
    AF Black -> Data -> #2 Purple
    AF Red - Not used on this vehicle

    My question is rather simple.. I possibly have a bad oil pressure sensor but it always reads 53psi... Is this a default for our car or should I just replace it? I'll verify with a tech2 tomorrow just figured I'd ask here.

    Apparently you can't write to the pcm while the aeroforce is powered up so installed a switch to remove the 12v feed when needed

    Forgot to check oil psi at work still reads 53, I'm going to take a wild guess it's bad.

    Just saw your post. Was going to let you know about that read/write issue. I usually couldn't read either.

    On the oil pressure. IIRC it's only a switch and not a true sensor.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    There will be a few things that read like that on the aeroforce.

    GM probably set the on/off resistance to the same that would read 53 if the sensor showed actual psi.

    I am pretty sure they sell one. FP as well.

    Although I wouldn't buy an OPS. To me it has no value. By the time you see it dipping, you have no options.

    I'm having a serious lag issue when shifting from 1st to 2nd. Like 1.5-2.5 second shift under moderate acceleration sometimes followed by a jolt. If I'm easy on it it seems fine.

    No matter what I change in hpt it never feels any better... Wonder if my trans is taking dump
