    Not really Silver. It most likely is your blower motor resistor. You will be able to tell if it is bad just by looking at it, take it out and if it looks like this: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/i.../IMG_8118a.jpg, its probably your issue. Get one from a place like Auto Zone (part #DR783) they don't cost that much.
