I guess I should have typed out a little more of what I was trying to say. Sure it looks horrible but I was talking about how after a rebuilt all of the internals are cleaned thoroughly and put back togther. You'd have to hope that the filter catches most of the crud and crap. Have to figure that even after the rebuild that all the curd and crap stuck in the cooler will be caught by the filter.......like I said, all it takes is one little piece of debris to cause havoc.

I say give Lucas a try. Worst case you're out $15......but when you're considering the time and effort it's going to take to go through the trans again $15 is a drop in the bucket. Also a shudder is sometimes related to a seal that's going bad......My turbo car has developed a shudder under moderate throtte from a dead stop....I'm gonna be rebuilding soon too.

Edit: I'm sure if you started a thread about pan drop pics you'll be shocked to see some of the carnage.

Well the shutter only happened when I'm on the pedal doing a steady speed. The RPMs raise up about 200 during shudder then drop when its over. The shudder happens every 1-2 minutes. That's why I think its the tranny. I'm thinking either a solenoid or converter. Hoping its the solenoid if anything. Don't feel like dropping trans again

I know that you have mentioned crusing speed....what speed are we talking here. I assume that it's happening either while in 3rd and 4th both at speeds where the TCC is commmanded to lock and unlock. Giving a little more infor may help us try and help diagnose the root of the cause.

And I was just saying mine is going to need a reabuild no matter what......Stock trans w/trans go shift kit only isn't going to last under a cammed turbo car

It happens almost at any cruising speed. It could be 30 mph or 65. It only happens when I'm on the gas at a steady speed. It does not happen when I let go of gas and the car is just cruising. Doesn't happen when I brake either. I changed almost all the front suspension to rule that out.

I hear ya with your trans. Lol.

    Btw, I appreciate the help.
