    I have an 02 GTP that I recently bought. The blower for the heat would not work on settings 1 thru 4, only worked on high. After reading multilple posts about this I looked under the passenger dash and to my surprise there was a blower control resistor sitting near the floor board plugged in to the blower and connecting harness. Well to make a story short the previous owner could not get the old one out so he opted to just plug the new one in and lay it there. Bad idea. The resistor needs air running acrossed it to keep it cool, it's just a matter of time before your new part is toast again. So anyone thinking about doing this, DO NOT. Take the time to get the old one out and replace properly. It's a pain standing on your head and removing it but it's a must. I replaced with a new resistor module and put it in the proper position and works like a charm. Thanks for all the posts on this matter.
