yea thats what mine looked like but a little worse. After a good cleaning it was sparklinggggg.
Intake cleaner. Available at any parts store in many brands.
I used B-12 Chemtool. The bottle on the Chemtool said that it leaves no residue. The back of every other bottle of intake cleaner that was on the shelf said that it did leave a residue. Not sure what the residue is but I dont like the sound of it so I chose the Chemtool.
Remember to let the car sit for a few hours after you clean it to let the excess dry up. The first start will be a long start, just hold the key down till the engine fires up. Then let the car sit and warm up to "burn off" the excess cleaner if there is any.

another question i have is can the inside, the inlet side of the supercharger with the humps, can those be sanded down or do the humps serve a purpose for the fuction of the supercharger???
The humps have the S/C bearings in them, you can smooth the surface if you want, but they are there to optimize air flow to the right part of the rotors, and if you cut into the bigger ones, you would get to the bearing pretty quick, sadly the Gen V is pretty optimized and there is little/nothing to port, or perfect on them, sorry
