My sunroof won't close. It is almost shut, but not all the way. Also, it is a little crooked. The drivers side is a little more closed than the passenger side. The last time I opened it, it made a poping sound. So, when I went to close it, it went most of the way but not all the way. Help, I don't have a garage. I tried having my kid push the button to close it while I put a little pressure on it. Nothing. Is there anyway to rig it shut? Did it strip a gear? Thank You all!

Sounds like it came off the track. Check the tracking and try to push it back in on the pass. side. I have a spare sunroof if you end up needing one.

How do I do that? Check the tracking? I want to try and fix it before my husband gets to it. He hates my car!

Try to see if its off the tracking by looking down each side. If it us, push it in on whichever side is out.

It won't go back in. My husband took the glass out and jacked with it for a little bit. He wants me to take the headliner out.I didn't ask what the purpose was. Any more ideas???? Thanks

Yeah sounds like it came out of the track. You said that it is crooked, if you can open it again and then try to close again but slowly and all while trying to keep it straight (might require some elbow grease). This will hopefully prevent it from cocking and causing it to bind in the broken track. I hope this makes sense. Good luck!!
