    I used B-12 Chemtool. The bottle on the Chemtool said that it leaves no residue. The back of every other bottle of intake cleaner that was on the shelf said that it did leave a residue. Not sure what the residue is but I dont like the sound of it so I chose the Chemtool.

    Remember to let the car sit for a few hours after you clean it to let the excess dry up. The first start will be a long start, just hold the key down till the engine fires up. Then let the car sit and warm up to "burn off" the excess cleaner if there is any.
