Up to 10% of 21 (estimated combined MPG) is "up to" 2.1mpg I don't really see that out of coolant alone.

In a daily driven vehicle you want it to get up to 195 degrees for optimum economy. That's why its the stock temperature.

As for the performance cooling factor... Probably not enough to make the cost worth it.

The cooling system holds 10.6 liters, thats 2.8 Gallons. At $43.95 per gallon, a change to this stuff would cost $131.85 plus $24.86 Shipping for a total of $156.71.

U really looked into it a lot. I didn't even pull up prices. I didn't think coolant alone could make as big of an impact as they were saying. But yea that's dang expensive

Not really, just did some simple math and looked at the prices on the link you post...

I have seen this stuff used before. It alows you to open your rad while the car is hot WOW. But it is also a true lifetime coolent. As in never have to change it out. It might be worth it in a new car. It would take a while to pay for itself. Since most coolents are good for about 2 years.

Keep in mind you should flush your coolant when you replace your intake manifold gaskets. Dealers usually reccomend this around every 60k miles. That leaves you paying $156.71 every 4 years assuming you drive the "average" of 15k miles a year.

I'll stick to $32 ($15.99 per gallon) of Prestone Dex concentrate and mix in some water and call it a day.
