I recently ordered a new ECU from will @ overkill, Recently being over two weeks ago.

I do understand that it is the holidays and all that jazz. But the last contact i had from will was on the 22nd, confirming that my ECU was programmed and shipping out on monday (the 24th). Fast forward to the 30th and i still have seen nor heard anything about the ECU, so i emailed Will again just to see what was up. And 4 days later (now over 2 weeks since the initial order) i still have gotten the ecu or gotten any info on whats up. I understand that things happen and delays are ineveitable in life, but no response in 4 days, 10 days after the supposed shipping and what not is a bit annoying.

To clarify i am not accusing anyone of anything, i am merely stating my experience to this point and i am curious what kind of timeframe others who have Overkill PCMs recieved theirs in and what the level of involvement was.

The common scenario is....people get thier PCM about ten days after they start worrying. He is a part time tuner with a full time job and a family. I waited a little over a month for mine, found out that he mistakingly shuffled my order to the "bottom of the pile". He apologized and gave me a discount for the delay. So, just try to be patient for a little while more..

    Whats your STICK man?

You keep finding amusement here because the recommendations AROUND HERE and people posting regarding that. I might be outta line, but if you don't like what you read, or think otherwise then offer alternatives rather then being a cheerleader of people's irritations!

First off... Anyone who has done business knows that Overkill can take some time.
Second the shipment is coming from Canada and can be delayed (customs).

My PERSONAL experience is Will @ Overkill is a great guy and will make good on any customers dissatisfaction with his product, to which I don't know anybody in that category. He's been around a while and there's reason for that being so!

Email him again. Took about a month to get mine but I ordered it knowing what to expect coming from Canada and him doing this as a side gig. Well worth the wait.

Moral of story: GET SOME PATIENCE. Stuff happens, and weekends/holidays aren't included in business days. These threads are something else. People have personal lives, it's called: family is more important than you and your PCM during the holiday season. Maybe don't order something on or around the longest holiday time of the year.

The Canada point is another one as well, customs and everything else skews shipping times. The e-mails from what I've heard is a common thing.

Should have just ordered a DHP PCM from 3800performance.

    In the US.

This thread was not an OMG WHERES MY PCM THREAD

IT was a i find it odd in this day and age that emails go unanswered from paying customers for days at a time, i was answering work emails throughout the holidays; i answer them on the weekends/off hours etc, because im being paid to do a job and i want to do it the best i can so when i need something like time off or a promotion or what ever i have alot of green on the ledger.

ALL i wanted was a confirmation that he does take a bit longer than any other competitor. Im not doubting him or the product, but seeing as i had 0 updated information and still have no tracking info i was curious if this was par for course.
