I put new brake pads and rotors on my 2002 Grand Prix last night ( all 4 tires ). I'm having trouble with the front driver side brakes. There's tons of brake dust and a high pitched squealing noise but it's not very loud. I bought the Wearever ceramic brake pads with new hardware (platinum pads). All of the other wheels are perfectly fine it's just the drivers side :-( I'm going to take it apart in a couple of days and I need some tips and help so that I can resolve the issue. Also how would you advise that I get the front brake pads into the slots where the little metal brackets go because they were very difficult to get in the first time.

Synthetic caliper lube is good. Ensure when you take it apart that you pull the pins, clean then and lube them. As for the noise, likely it's the new hardware. Ensure it's fully seated, it can be a pain to get them clipped in and centered to ensure they aren't rubbing.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Can I use some lube to help the brake pads seat in the brackets properly. They likely are rubbing cause the drivers side is covered in brake dust as wear the other wheels have only a little from the old brakes. Drivers side looks like someone powder coated it :-(
