One of the only two reds on the... black connector?
Okay, so I can test wire continuity using...uh... ohms. Which should figure out which wire I'm playing with. Right?
Edit: Okay, so either ohms is wrong, or the wire is disrupted somewhere.

black connector would confirm that you must be an 06.. darnit. yeah Ohms would confirm it. If you get zippo and there's only 2 red wires in the three connectors..then you have a short, which then means I'd test for the voltage that should be on that red wire. Was it +5V or +12V? Likely 5 coming off the pcm. Find which wire has it.. then in the fsm find the circuit number. That'll make it easy to ensure you have the right wire.
Ahaaaahhhh! I knew I wasn't crazy!
Muhfcker apparently rubbed himself apart inside the loom by the front valve cover. That's why I couldn't get continuity from the PCM. Jiggle it and continuity came back. Let it go, and it went away. How does this happen to a protected wire?! Patching her up now.
You should have been taught in school...that sometimes it doesn't matter how much protection you use.....thing can happen.
AAAAggggghhhhhh. And the short seems to have ruined the EGR. F*ck me running. Lucky I've got a spare. What are the chances?
dunno...I've never had a shorted egr before. All the EGRs I've seen have been regular length...
