Im have a 99 gt and am buying a 99 or 98 gtp that is missing the radiator. I want to use the gtp for parts and turn my gt supercharges, but am not sure yet because my gt has several dings here and there and to use the gtp rather than the gt as a dd would be less work. My question is, will my gt radiator work on the gtp if needed? Any help is appreciated!

Awesome, thanks! I looked it up on autozone after I posted this and seen they have different part numbers so was thinking it wouldn't interchange.

Don't do it. The GTP radiator is thicker. If you put the GT radiator in it you will loose cooling efficiency with the thinner radiator.

Ahh, good to know. But if I make my gt supercharged and move over the top end and transmission can I keep my same radiator, or do I need to upgrade to a gtp radiator?

You're not gonna notice ****... So then whenever somebody top swaps, they are going to have worse cooling efficiency cuz of the thinner radiator?

I've got an L67 in my car with the GT radiator, no overheating issues at all. Stays cool at 180*!

I think I'll upgrade, better safe than sorry. Especially cuz I live in AZ and its mostly hot here. iI have an entire car, making my gt supercharged after all, can any of you recommend what else I should transplant? my gt has the dic, do I need the one out of the gtp to show the boost level, or does mine already have that ability?

I would swap the HD diff housing from the GTP to the GT. Or maybe the whole trans if the one in the GTP is in better condition.

Your DIC already has this ability, the boost gauge will light up once you plug in a 2-bar map sensor, with the right pcm and all.

So, would I need to swap out the pcm and wiring harness? I would like to use as much from this donor car as possible. Minus the radiator, and mass airflow sensor, this car is complete!
BTW, will have tons of parts when I am done hacking away what I want.

If you use the L67 motor & trans, you must use the PCM too. If you slap the L67 and keep your trans, you need to get your pcm tuned for the correct gear ratio.
For the harness, you can just get an adapter to use the MAP of the l67 & the solenoid on the boost bypass canister. (I personally used a different 2-bar map and run it without the solenoid.)
