I have an 06 grand prix that is showing these codes: P1125, P2125 and P2138 and has the reduced engine power light as well as the engine light on. We have replaced the accelerator pedal however, it's still having the same problem and showing the same codes. Any ideas to try?

What is the tps sensor? And how do we recalibrate it?

tps= throttle position sensor. its on your throttle body.

OBD2 - OBDII Code P1125 - Throttle position sensor intermittent | Engine-Codes.com looks like you need a scanner to calibrate it.

It's built into the throttle body itself. Drive by wire.

OK. We have replaced the throttle body, the entire thing. Also the accelerator pedal and the same codes are still reading and the problem still exists. Any other ideas?

I know they went through all the wiring last night looking for a frayed or broken one, and found nothing, and it still won't clear the codes. Today, we are taking it to a dealership to have it diagnosed there........hopefully it's something easy for them to find!
