I was told that there is 2 different head gaskets for my 99 Gt.One is nicely priced but the other one is $400(Can).They said it depends on when the motor was made.I need to fix mine and want to make sure that I am getting the right one. Thanks in advance !

I spent around 35-40 for a set for head gasket.

There is a set around 350 that has all the gaskets:
head, blower, valve cover, header, all exhaust gaskets and a crap load of o rings.

just take your time. bag and label the bolts about where they came from so they go back n the proper location, and take notes.....or follow the service manual.

take your time, make sure the sealing surfaces are clean! Everything is pretty straight forward, and is VERY HARD to f*ck anything up.

    EDIT: torque specs!!! follow them!

ok one question.I now have all of the intake parts off.All of the gaskets so far are all junk. Now should I go down to the heads to see if it is leaking there too.I am ready to push this damn thing into the lake already.

Is there any reason in particular that you think you may need head gaskets?

well I dont know for sure if the leaking is just with the intake gaskets or not.But I dont want to take the heads off if I dont need to.If I dont have to go and buy more parts the better.I am on a very tight budget right now.but if I have to ,so be it.

Head gaskets rarely go out. Besides, if you were to take the heads off, you'll have to go and get new head bolts.
