I searched car-part.com for 2007 Grand Prix with vin 2 aka L26 as they are ususally the best price in the Chicago area. There were some that popped up with 30K for about $400. More with 100K+ for $250 and up.
Not sure if you have a mechanic or are buddies with a mechanic that has a shop. If you do.. most places within a couple hundred miles will deliver for free to a shop. I do this with a buddy who has a shop at times. Or .. find a buddy and go with a truck to grab it. At that pricing you can easily toss the guy gas and some extra for his help.
Then you drop it in and smile.
You are sure you're engine is toast and not just hydrolocked? Often when they lock, they are still good.
