I must be in a fog right now, I cut a brand new O2 sensor to extend the wires & forgot the mark the wires vs the plug. Wouldn't be a problem but there r 2 white wires. Anyone got a picture wires from the sensor to the plug?

Doesn't one of them have a black mark on it?
Mine are brown, tan, pink, and black.
yeah just a min
one is purple

I'd have to crawl under my car i'll try to get you some later i'm getting ready to take the kids to the pool it's the last day lol
I have a pic of where the sensor is in the exhaust but not the whole wire i'd have to pull the extension off the car.

two are power, a 12 and 5v i think and one is ground and the other is output. you have two circuits in there... a heater and the sensor
You need a new sensor anyhow. Trying to solder the O2 wiring from teh sensor to pigtail is usually an effort in futility. I'd suggest looking up Blueguy's post about the sensor with a long pigtail to keep you from buying an extension or extending the wires on the car's harness.
you dont want to extend your o2 harness with solder and wire, buy a extension harness for 15 bucks at zzp. your jacking with the resistance values of the wires, which i turn changes voltage readings and giving you false and inaccurate readings
I purchased a new sensor from ZZP it has 4 wires (black, grey, white, white) - I cut the sensor wires at the midpoint to make the O2 extension harness. I added about 15 inches worth of wire to avoid being anywhere near the headers. The problem is that I didn't mark the white wires. So I have my plug end with those 4 wires & I have the actual sensor end with those 4 wires. The grey & black obviously connect but I don't know which white on the plug end goes with which white on the sensor end?
So with the header install I needed to extend the harness. I purchased a brand new O2 sensor from ZZP & extended harness myself.
However, extending the harness came with some problems http://www.grandprixforums.net/makin...ere-67540.html
Now I am getting code 1133, I ended up guessing which of the 2 unmarked white wires goes where - guess that failed or the extension is too long & throwing out bad readings? Anyone have a picture of an O2 sensor showing exactly what wires from the plub end go into what position on the sensor end?
I would hate to throw away a sensor with 50 miles on it.
FWIW I've tried extending a sensor before and those wires just don't like to solder. I'd take your old sensor and extend the wiring harness side..nto the sensor wires. then ... do them one at a time instead of cutting all at one shot.
