It will fit your 97. It only moves the fans back about 1/4", so it will still clear cars with headers as well from what I see. I had to buy a different lower rad hose to clear the belt/A/C compressor as the stock one has bends that put it a little closer than I'd like. I don't have the parts list here at work, so I'll update this when I get access to the info.

The rad. I got from OReillys carries a lifetime warranty, and they had to order it and got it in a day. Part Number: 432387

Make sure you take a tape measure with you when you pick it up and measure the top edge of the core to be sure they got the correct one, as there is also a 1" core available for this car. BTW the rad. is for a 1998 Monte Carlo with the 3800. Oreilly's show 3 rads avail. so be sure they send you the right one.
