I'm in the process of doing my LIM gasket, and either I'm hamfisted, or the parts were just old. I damaged two hoses. The one is what I think is called the supercharger bypass/fuel pressure regulator valve tubing. It's a thin hard tube with 2 T junctions in the middle. It connects to the MAP, and at various points around the LIM and supercharger.

I also broke the tube that connects from the Evap canister purge valve to the throttle body.

Does anyone know any junk yards or places where these can maybe be gotten quickly? I've called a few local places, but no luck on any GTPs. They're aren't carried by any of the regular shops, and I can only find them at GM Parts Direct, and they take forever to ship things. I'd like to avoid going to the dealership, because obviously it's like twice the price.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Steve..hit your local parts store and put things together. I use small wiper hose for the fpr etc and from the throttle body get a 3/8 to 1/4 or 3/16 adapter. Then you have normal hose etc and can fix it at any time.

Just get some vacuum lines and T's from any parts store and make your own vac lines. Or just buy a silicone hose kit and never worry about broken vac lines.
Silicone Hose Kits - 7 colors

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

I have them, never had an issue. The walls on these lines are really thick to prevent collapse.

Or just go to the dealership and order the whole line kit.

Always seems to depend of where you live.

I paid $35 for them, like a year ago. To me it was worth it, because I didnt want to make my own.

So I took the suggestion to head to the parts store and try to make a frankentube. The cost after all the parts is about the same as getting it from gmpartsdirect(dealer is about double). So I guess the question I have to answer is can I wait for it to come from there(1-2 weeks?) or do I need the car now.

    Thanks guys.

    Uh..what?

1" piece of 3/8 hose - should be free
    3/8 -1/4 adapter $3?
    1 Tee from 1/4 to 3/16 and 3/16 $3
    3 feet of 3/16 line $5

That's how I did it... not sure how that adds to $35. Maybe I'm just using different parts.

Of the two parts stores near me the first didn't have most of the fittings, and the second just sold them in multi-packs which drove the price up. It wasn't exactly the same, but it was $20-25, and the harness online is $30. I was just saying it more like the price is close enough that I was thinking I might just want to get the factory one, and have it be all official.
