My 04 GTP did not come with remote start. I know some later models did or maybe the option wasnt ordered on my car. I would like to add remote start to my car but have heard many horror stories about things going very wrong even from a reputable installer. I figured you guys would have some info for me when getting remote start.
First of all, is this difficult? I do not plan on doing it myself but I dont need a whole bunch of my wires hacked to hell just to add remote start.
Can a stock system be added from an 06 or 07 GP with Remote start?
What are good remote starters out there? I would like to have a 2way system so I can montor the car when I am away but im not interested in loud alarms or anything else like that. It would be nice to know when the door has been opened or when the glass is broke.
Any advice would be helpfull, I should have one installed in a few weeks.
