Make it simple, just remove the regulator, it will disattach from the window.
Its just a few bolts, a few hold the regulator in place, and a few hold the motor in place, just remove both.
Then when you have the money for a regulator you just install that one.
Cutting the cables would work too, but just get the regulator out of the way, it'll take just a few minutes.
Well, for one you cannot take the inner metal door panel out. It is part of the door. If you cannot access the 2 bolts that hold the glass to the regulator then you might be able to just remove the window motor and push the glass up that way. The regulator should move w/ the motor off of it.
Just removing the motor won't help, it's attached to the regulator. He needs to remove the regulator, the regulator removes with 2-3 bolts, and the motor removes with 2-3 - all as one assembly.
Just take a look at it, it's really not that complicated. Once you have the door panel off, peel the protective plastic back and look at what is inside the door(it's all just simply the door, as said theres no separate panel). There are a few (I think 10mm?) bolts holding each the regulator and motor in place.
Took both of them out. Motor was deadly hot and regulator was frozen. Also, after the tension was released from the wires holding the pulley together it all went to crap. Now I have a steel wire mess. But hey the window is up and supported by blocks of wood lol
