My wife drove our 1999 Grand Prix to the store, rolled down all 4 windows an inch to let the heat out, came out of the store 30 minutes later and none of the windows work. Any ideas?

There appears to be only one circuit breaker for the windows and my meter says it is fine.

Do you have power on both sides of the fuse?

I did not check because (1) it is stinking hot outside and (2) it sounds like the motors in the front doors are running when I push the window switches. I will verify the power.

    Your should have mentioned that.

Unplug the motors and measure resistance on power wires to chassis ground for each motor.

Can you hear the rear motors running also?

    Correct
After looking at the schematics all windows draw power through the same 25amp breaker.
    Try replacing the breaker.
If that's not it then there may be a short between the breaker and the motors.
I'm sure all four motors wouldn't go bad at the same time.
