Thread: GTP, Problem?, Only one wheel pulls.

we dont have a posi/limited slip so only the one wheel will spin.

So if im at the track with slicks or on the street, i can always light up both tires...i must have "posi"?

It wasn't availabile unless you added it from Quaife, EP, GM Torsen or an Intense LSD. It was never available on a factory transmission. Likely you have enough power to break both free.

I believe power has little to do with it, Its simple TQ biasing in an open diff.

With equal traction typically you'd get both wheels. Although this is not guaranteed, as GPGT says.. we don't have posi.

yeah, sometimes you can get both wheels going, but taking into consideration the crown of the road or other conditions like that, whichever wheel has less traction is going to spin

or engineered performance still makes their lsd. but, like bill stated...you obviously have enough power to break both loose
