In my mind that's backwards. You don't have a blower to heat up the air. you will actually see cooler temps

I liked my CAI because it looked pretty.
Car seems soft on power when pulling away from a stop with a hot engine. Could be the high IAT with the WAI.
the stock tune pulls timing when IAT reaches past 80*C IIRC and it does get that high with an open cone on a stop.
You may notice it only right away, like if you had just before, not been moving very fast.
I too tuned my car to not let the warm IAT's affect my car when they are high, and under a WOT run temps can quickly drop from 120ยบ + to ambient in around 5 seconds.
I now notice it under light acceleration and heavy acceleration. I could only get it to show up to 2* before, by giving light throttle when the TC was locked in 4th. Now, its showing up to 5.3* in every gear under any acceleration level. It's probably the fact that the IAT is no longer in the stream of the intake. It's sitting on top of my filter. I'll drop it in stream tomorrow and see if that kills the KR. If not, CAI is going back on.
Arent you also running a 3.25 with only PEM's?
I dont know your mods, but maybe pulley up.
Yes. But had no KR prior to going HAI. Headers have been in the box for the last year and a half, one day I'll find the time to get them in.
Ur car is just wierd. lol
lol, yeah, its a freak. So far its breaking most of the rules of the "Safely modding a 3800" thread. It has a N* TB, 3.25 press on pulley, ported S/C, Cam/rockers? still unsure, head work? still unsure, PEM's to a 3"DP H/F cat and 3" straight pipe with cutout to the stock muffs. Bought it this way. Took a lot of reading to figure out that much. Runs awesome though, so cant complain too much.
You are running a 3.25 without and cam or intercooler or even rockers? If so how much timing? Fuel?
Keith's car probably has a chipped piston.
Just because it has no KR, doesn't mean it's tuned worth a sh1t either.
Could have 10* of timing at it.
Im not sure what has been done outside of what I can see. Will the aeroforce tell me the injector duty?
it can. yes.
