I'm going to buy a new down pipe, I just don't know what I should get? I want to get as deep sounding as I can. All suggestions WANTED and WELCOMED. As long as it's not a bank breaker. Keep it under 250 as much as possible. I have a 2003 LE GT, bone stock except for open cone and 180 t-Stat

Yeah, just go ahead and get the Speed-daddy headers. Search for the 127931203 threads about them, and it'll answer all the questions you can possibly have.

Headers > Downpipe and stock mani's, and will give you a deeper note.

ok you want a downpipe. people are going to say why bother just get headers. a little while ago i asked what are the great gains against downpipes when getting headers. so since that will probably be your next question, just read this.

Headers take care of the Ubend, you don't need a Ubend delete when you get headers

Well, I'm going to disagree with everybody in here. I would rather have a quality downpipe then crappy headers any day.

Any cheap ebay headers are either going to have fitment issues or leak issues.

Only if they have installer error.

I've put on half a dozen sets.

    No leaks.

Well I suppose you have magic hands, bc almost every set I've come across needed welding / rtv, new clamps, etc, etc.

You can install any slip fit joint without RTV and have it be leak free?

Like no exhaust install should go without RTV, cmon Jason.

I've used the clamps they give you...

OR, you can get better stepped band clamps, and then...if you don't have magic hands...they end up still being cheaper than a ZZP Downpipe.

    Imagine that.

And it'll probably put down 10+WHP over a downpipe car with stock manifolds, because you still left the 2nd worst restriction in the exhaust system...the Front Manny.
