    I've never once installed slp or tog headers using rtv. Does the factory manifolds use rtv?

    Sorry mang, I don't believe rtv should b necessary.

    Not to get in the middle of this but Cop are you saying you won't do cheap headers because it uses RTV? But you dont seem to argue that headers out perform just the DP. So you are not willing to spend the extra $5-$6 for the RTV to gain the 10whp that Blue is claiming...

    I've used the clamps they give you...

    OR, you can get better stepped band clamps, and then...if you don't have magic hands...they end up still being cheaper than a ZZP Downpipe.

    Imagine that.

    And it'll probably put down 10+WHP over a downpipe car with stock manifolds, because you still left the 2nd worst restriction in the exhaust system...the Front Manny.
