So installed my Aeroforce Gauge today...took the car for a spin...my knock is reading 0.0 at WOT....which i know is waaaay wrong...and its not reading knock at idle either...im on the correct KR..with the correct gauge.....plus if i leave it plugged in and turn off the car...and the gauge powers down i go to turn the car back on and it Flashes the Red lights at me with no display so i have to unplug it from the OBD2 and plug it back in...

any suggestions? ive read that thread about installing and its not helping...

Are you doing this after 160*? Try tapping on the oil pan with a hammer and see if it reads kr that way.

Still have the jumper in the back?

Where did you wire the AF too?

I go to the radio fuse and it shuts off when I open the door.

KR will only read under load anyways...so it won't register KR in park.

    Maybe it is knock free?

    Who knows.

Go put 87 in it and see if it knocks LOL

just straight into the OBD2, it runs and stays on when the car is running

You need a power wire, you cant just have it plug int the odb 2 port for power.

You'll need the little 3 wire piece and then wire the red wire to the fuse box with an add a fuse.

    Why not?

    I did that.

On both the blue car and the silver car.

I told Cody to get the OBDII harness.

Plugged it in after I started the car, unplugged it when I got out.

    /Done.

That takes effort, running a wire so you dont have to plug it in and unplug makes life simple.

    Must be a missery thing.

And running a wire means taking apart the dash or soldering crap, no thanks.

    Work smarter, not harder.

    Take apart dash? lol

Just fish it under the kick panels to the fuse box and just use the supplied crimp connectors and use a lighter/heat gun.

Kids these days, I tell ya.

    Fishing?

    Kicking?

    Under the dash?

Nope, don't have to do anything but plug it in.

BTW, what did you want last night...since this thread makes so much sense...
