Your GTP cradle is the same as the GT cradle. if you swap them, and the GT one isn't rusty etc. It's just extra work with no benefit.
Wiring. Do not use the 97 harness. Use the 98 harness but add in the boost control soleniod wiring and move the map sensor connector over. Those two things will save you a lot of headaches. Then get a 98 GTP pcm or it's programming modified to work with the lack of a fuel pump speed relay etc etc. The 98 is much better and faster than the 97.
