I just bought my grand prix and am having a peculiar issue. When I hit the accelerator my traction control turns off and my parking brake light comes on. Usually when I hit the break it goes off, but not always. The abs light is not on. I have checked the brake fluid in the master cyl. I am new to the site and any help is appreciated.

I will recommend getting it scanned with a Tech II to see what codes it's throwing.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

It is a bit of a toss up. Its a 97 SE i believe. Although the vin starts with a 1, which is usually reserved for the gtp. But I have no s/c.
